Athena is an 8th grader at Lake Asbury Jr High. She is part of the STEAM program, the Vice President of Kids Helping Kids Club, and a Jr Thespian, and a member of the all county chorus. Athena is going into her second year as the Vice President for the Kids Helping Kids Club. Last year the club raised over $5,000 which was used to grant the wish of a medically complex child she goes to school with. The students’ wish was to see Metallica in concert. Not only did Athena and her fellow clubmates raise the money for it, the young man had the opportunity to meet the band and go backstage.

When she’s not acting as an ambassador for her school and working hard to stay on the honor roll, you will find Athena training at the dance studio for Acro, or bringing awareness to her foundation Athena Animal Friends.

Athenas Animal Friends collects and donates Animal food and cleaning supplies for the non kill animal shelter SAFE. Athena’s future goal is to be a Game Warden. She wants to help protect animals and make sure they are properly cared for.
